“In Case You Hadn’t Heard” Deals 7/27
July 27th, 2007Today seems like a good day to compile a couple of deals that have been widely circulated on the web for the past few days/weeks, so most folks have probably heard about them. But in case you haven’t, let me bring you up to speed.
1. Target Gerber baby food - starting at $.02 a jar after “$1 off 2″ Target web coupon. The coupon expires 8/15/07. You can generate and print as many as you want. The cheapest baby food jars are $.52 at my Target (price varies slightly), so 2 cents each after coupon. There is no corporate limit as to how many coupons you can use in a transaction, but each store can place its own limits. And here’s Gerber’s webpage with a couple of coupon offers that can be stacked with the Target coupon.
Other Target coupon deals include $.75 off French’s mustard ($.27 or less after coupon), $.50 off Market Pantry water ($.09 after coupon?), $1 Cheez-It boxes after $1 coupon, $.50 off Chef Boyardee mini ravioli, and more.
Additionally, the bulk packages of various food and household items are now marked 15%-30% off. I picked up 2L of Listerine plus Pocketmist spray (orig. $6) for $3.70 after 30% off and $.50 manufacturer’s coupon.
2. Kmart has a deal that gives a $10 gift card when you buy a pack of Duracell batteries plus 2 participating Proctor & Gamble products. When combined with manufacturer’s coupons, this can be a money-maker. I haven’t tried it. The challenge, apparently, is that you have to find the tearpad coupon for this deal, and some places have already run out. Look in Health and Beauty and ask at customer service.
3. Border’s coupon for 30% off one item with a $10 purchase or more - Expires 8/31
4. Restaurant.com dining certificates 70% off with coupon code PRESENT - valid through 7/31
