Bargain Quest

The Dollar Tree strikes again! This time, it provided me with lots of brightly colored baskets to furnish the baby’s room bookshelf (see photo at left). His bedding is Target’s Tiddliwinks Travel collection, so I’m trying to introduce a lot of primary colors around the room. I love the baskets on the shelves because they give me so much storage for books, little toys, socks, etc, although looking at the photo now, I think they could be a little better organized!

Another el cheapo solution for bringing color into the room, and keeping with the bedding “travel” theme: dismantling and hanging pictures from a calendar I found on clearance for $.25 at the Target Dollar Spot last year (photo below).

Now we’re just waiting on the baby!
