Cyber Monday Shoppers

November 26th, 2007

So Cyber Monday itself isn’t exactly a bargain blowout, but if a deal catches your eye or you’re shopping anyway, don’t forget to shop through cash back programs! A number of sites have bumped up their rewards, either for today or the holiday shopping season, so it’s more worthwhile than ever.

For instance-

Ebates is offering a Cyber Monday Cash Back promotion during which rebate percentages to most of their retailers are doubled or at least increased several percentage points (Ends at 11:59PM PST today).
Magazines.com comes with 45% cash back, up from regular 25%. I used the Overstock link to buy a jewelry item with 8% back (plus 10% jewelry discount from Overstock and free shipping). And here’s a list of FatWallet’s Holiday Cash Back Sale percentages.

If you’re going to be spending over $100 at Overstock, check out PayPal’s current promotion instead - 20% back on your $100+ Overstock order when you check out with PayPal. Other merchants participating (that don’t all require a $100 minimum order) include Newegg, Toysrus, Barnesandnoble, and Dell. The deal will end by December 10 or before, and the 20% back could take until Jan 31 to be deposited.
