In Case I Couldn’t Think Of Enough Ways to Spend Money…
July 27th, 2007Capital One’s got my back.
I’m so sick of the purchase checks that keep accompanying my credit card statements. Just more junk to shred. Most companies simply include them in the statement packet, but Capital One goes out of the way to make them “user-friendly” and it always rubs me the wrong way.
This month’s helpful suggestions from Capital One on how to spend purchase checks:
Ten ways to kick back - and enjoy these checks this summer:
- 1. Build a deck
- 2. Put a down payment on that convertible you’ve been eyeing
- 3. Put some extra cash in your pocket
- 4. Host a party
- 5. Hire a lawn service
- 6. Have your house repainted
- 7. Buy a new grill
- 8. Send the kids to camp
- 9. Join a pool
- 10. Take a vacation (you deserve it!)
I’ve had an epiphany. I totally deserve a vacation. If anyone needs me, I’ll be living it up in Tahiti.
All thanks to the helpful folks at Capital One.
